Features in Detail

30:1 Zoom range: 30:1 optical zoom ratio, coupled with Vision Engineering’s excellent objectives, gives optical magnifications from 1.7X to 300X.  Selection of objective and zoom position will allow magnification and working distance to be optimized.

Full-HD image resolution: Images displayed in Full-HD quality at 1080p. Images are sharp, with the resolution matched to Full-HD screen resolution 60 fps: Frame refresh rate of 60 frames per second ensures images are seen without delay and free from image blur caused by subject movement.

Polarized ring-light: Polarized incident lighting can be coupled with a polarized filter on the objective lens, to reduce reflections from highly reflective samples. Greater detail can be seen for better inspection. Further enhancement can be achieved using the WD mode on EVO CAM ICON.

10 Preset settings: 10 Programmable ‘Presets’ allow saving and quick recall of settings for efficient use and consistency of inspections. Presets can also be exported and imported allowing customers to share settings between units and across sites. Presets record calibrations for easy measurements at different magnifications.

Dimensioning: EVO CAM ICON’s large zoom range means measurement of different sized components can be made without the need for multiple systems. Presets can be saved with calibrations for different zoom positions making dimensioning measurements quick and easy. Measurement can be made between X and Y cursors or diagonal measurement between opposing corners.

Save/Export/Import settings: Preset settings can be exported and imported, allowing settings to be shared for increased consistency of operation. Individual Presets or entire camera settings can be exported and imported, allowing all 10 Presets, to be saved and replicated across multiple sites.

Stand-alone operation: EVO CAM ICON can be connected direct to a monitor and images saved onto a USB stick, removing cost and complications of supporting a dedicated PC. Most features of EVO CAM ICON can be accessed without need for a PC.

PC connection: EVO CAM ICON can connect direct to a PC via USB3 port. Live video images can be sent from the camera to a PC to be used with imaging and dimensioning software. Use like a webcam with windows apps or add functionality and control with Vision Engineering suite of software.

Optional Wi-Fi: EVO CAM ICON’s Wi-Fi___33 image transfer dongle enables wireless connection to images taken on the camera. Images can then be viewed and downloaded to the connecting device, without need for added cabling.

Aperture priority mode: AP controls the depth of focus by adjusting EVO CAM ICON’s iris aperture. The camera automatically adjusts other settings to maintain image brightness. Users can decide how much of the subject is in focus, without the complication of manual exposure.

Languages and help text: EVO CAM ICON menu also provides support text to aid the user’s operation. This text is available in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean,
Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.

Range of stands: EVO CAM ICON comes with the same dovetail mount as EVO CAM 2. Customers can select a stand that best suits their working environment and application. Dovetail adapter EVB091 extends the range of possibilities, allowing EVO CAM ICON to be fitted to any 100x100mm VESA mount.
