One of our most common grips. This general purpose tensile grip features jaw faces that are manually tightened to secure the sample. Faces are hardened steel and may be replaced. Top grip is self aligning. Ideal for tensile testing small components, wire, yarn, thread, cord and miniature parts.

Chatillon GF-1 Vice Action Grip:

This general purpose tensile grip features jaw faces that are manually tightens to secure specimens from 6mm to 30mm (0.25 to 1.25 in) in diameter.
The throat depth is 45mm (1.75 in).
A ball socket mounting screw in the upper grip assures proper alignment with the lower grip.
Grips have hardened steel faces.
