CMM Calibration Artifact
This CMM Calibration Artifact is designed for use as an intermediate check with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and includes an ISO-17025 accredited certification.
It is made to provide added confidence in a CMM between annual calibrations. By performing an artifact calibration routine on a regular schedule, the accuracy of your CMM is monitored and allows you to be proactive if any “drift” is discovered.
Two CMM artifacts are available based on needs: Gen 1 and Gen 2 as detailed below.
Gen 1 & Gen 2 Geometry includes: Circles, Slots, Widths, Spheres, Cones, Profiles etc. Additional geometry added for Gen 2: Cylinders, Stepped Diameters, enhanced Profiles.
Optionally, a CMM program in DMIS format is available for measuring the artifact as well as Native CMM Programs available (Calypso, PCDMIS, MCOSMOS, etc.). This ensures that the measurement routine is the same as the one used to certify the artifact. MBD (Model Based Definition) file is available as well as an option in native solid works file.
