Mahr Millimar C 1202 Amplifier easy to read display. The C1202 Digital amplifier offers high resolution, excellent color contrast display and analog readings with selectable scales. Operators can see both the analog scale and numeric digital readings. Display range is ±5000 µm and reading resolution 0.1 µm. The display can be adjusted to the ideal viewing angle (0º to 90º) and the C 1202 unit can also be wall-mounted. DATA COLLECTION OF MAHR C 1202
Option 1 (Recommended): USB Keyboard Wedge
This is the method most shops use because it requires no programming.
What you need:
• Mahr DK-U1 USB bidirectional cable (Part No. 4102603).
Setup
1. Connect the DK-U1 cable from the C1202 to your PC.
2. Install the Mahr USB driver if prompted.
3. Open Excel.
4. Click in the first cell where you want data (for example, A2).
5. On the C1202, configure the USB output to transmit data.
6. Press the DATA key (or use an optional footswitch).
7. The measurement is “typed” into the active Excel cell, and Excel advances to the next row if a carriage return is enabled
Option 2: Mahr Millimar Cockpit Software
If you’re collecting inspection data regularly, Mahr’s Millimar Cockpit software is a better choice.
It allows you to:
• Display live readings
• Record measurements automatically
• Store inspection data
• Export directly to Excel (.xlsx or .csv)
• Generate reports
This is the preferred solution if you’re doing SPC or production inspections.
Option 3: Digimatic Output
The C1202 also supports Digimatic output. With a Digimatic-to-USB interface, data can be sent into Excel using software that supports Digimatic input.
Automatic Data Collection
If you’re using a footswitch (Mahr Part No. 4102058):
1. Place the part in the air gage.
2. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
3. Press the footswitch.
4. The C1202 sends the measurement to Excel.
5. Excel advances to the next row.
