Starrett 3813 Coating Thickness Gage (3813)

$886.50

The Starrett 3813 Coating Thickness Gage is a state-of-the-art thickness gage that utilizes the characteristics of both eddy current and magnetic induction to perform two types of thickness calculation. The gage uses an integrated probe to automatically determine whether the substrate is ferrous or non-ferrous, then it either detects the thickness of non-magnetic coating on a magnetic substrate (ferrous) or the insulating coating on a non-magnetic conductive substrate (nonferrous). Testing performance is non-destructive and extremely accurate. Ideal for a broad range of applications in manufacturing, engineering and commercial inspection.
