Durometer

Durometers are precision measurement instruments that test the hardness of various rubber and plastics. Just like other hardness tests, durometers can measure the depth of an indentation in a material. These instruments are also often used with the ASTM D2240 Standard test method and can acquire hardness measurements starting from 6.4 mm. Durometers can also be used when timed hardness is desired. The user just needs to apply the force for the required time and then take the readings with their durometers.
